Has anyone done window tint before? I have and i think the hardest thing is cutting the shit to fit. I was smart and bought some precut tint for my ride. Has anyone ever used this stuff? I am sure it is easier to work with!

Yeah, it's a PITA. I like using the ones with adhesive already on there (they sell them at Myers, or at least used to) and spray on windex before putting on, then squeegee. That's the only way I've gotten it to work. Oh yeah, it was a pain in the ass then, and it always will be. Good luck!

i've never done it before, so i can't say much from experience. But i've always wondered, is it actually tough to do your first couple times? Or is it more of just having the right material? I've seen alot of bubble jobs in my day.

all you really do is ,put it on the outside of the window, thats your pattern
then you need distilled water and a scrappy thing to smotth out the bubbles and etc,,

at the parts store theres an video you can buy on how to do it

I found it easier to just pay someone to tint. Theres a place in the next town over that charged me $200 to tint my van.

I paid like 240 or so for mine.. but they put a tint graphic in the back window too... did a good job and i figure it's guaranteed, so i don't have to worry about it.

that doesn't work all the time up here... we have alot of military guys come back and get quite unruly then try to pull the military card. There is a point where professional courtesy runs out for everybody.

Right! I don't know why window tint is that big of a deal on someone who isn't transporting drugs, or guns, doing 120 in a school zone, and not shooting up some neighborhood. I agree it's a bs ticket, i've had one myself (the NYS trooper was a "rooster"). Its just something to get the state and counties more income.
