Well it has gravel pretty much and thats it.

If it has gravel, then invest in painters tape. I use that for bugs & gravel all the time when I drove my mx6 cross-country. When you're finished, just peel, and all that dirt and rocks and other stuff that would have cut it's way into your bodywork is instead in the tape, and most of it just peels right off.

Good Luck!

Ditto....i say drop it. 1" is not gonna make a huge difference, but it will look better!

Yes and no. Have you ever raced it? If yes, send the results to:

www.mazdamotorsports.com

They test parts and only sell race-proven parts for your mazda, at below retail, to those who race their cars. Once they approve you, you can go get the following parts that I'd recommend:
struts (adjustable, gas)
the anti-roll universal bars + vehicle-specific mounts
torsion bars
camber kits (adjustable)

That's the list I installed on my mx6 first, and I have to say that those parts make a huge difference. With an adjustable camber kit, you simply jack up the vehicle, loosen the nuts, turn the suspension a few degrees (mark off positions for street + race) and then tighten it back down. I find that 1 or 2 degrees of camber is all you need to really get a good race setup.

with only 1" drop the handling would be slightly better but not much.

Lowering a vehicle is somewhat overrated. Most of the handling would come from a stiffer suspension. So, getting a higher compression spring would help.

yea me i have bags so i just raise it over those shitty things, but yea if you have alot of speed bumps to go over it becomes an issue. i think they should be outlawed.
