This is my first mx6, not the 2.5L V6 DOHC project. It still is in great shape, all things considered (just a few small stains and stuff consistant with age and milage - shopping cart scratches and such ... car runs great). If you are local, I will tow the car up to 100 miles for just $0.33/mile (cost of diesel's killing me ... lol) which is still less than the IRS Rebatable $0.58/mile, or the going rate of almost $1/mile for trucks.

Here's the rundown...

What she needs:
A new battery - current battery has minimal life on a charge
(4) new tires - old tires are completely worn down by dozens of Solo-II competitions and lots of trips

What she has:
Tokico (gas-filled) 3-way adjustable front struts, might need to be pressurized, otherwise BRAND NEW
Basic cone intake
High-flow cat
Otherwise (mostly ... maybe a nut and bolt here and there) factory

Sound system:
Alpine CD/Head unit
I believe (4) factory speakers, might be upgraded
Available (will discuss costs) Audiobahn subs for higher cost, wired, with appropriate audiobahn amp

Wheel/Tire options:
4x mag (factory polished) 14" rims with BFG's (down to wear belts)
AVAILABLE: 16" RX7 rims, for MUCH higher cost, cleaned, no tires.

Recent repairs:
Full transmission rebuild at 180,000 miles or higher (maybe 190k, but no later)
New spark plugs in last 100 miles, with 8 add'l plugs that I'll throw in there for you if you want them (Mazda OEM's direct from MazdaMotorsports)

Other data:
Car has finished top-4 at numerous drag strips, won 2 Solo-II competitions in the past year, and all around runs great. New front pads (painted the calipers blue ... lol) and the vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition overall. I will double-check the codes once I get home, since an O2 sensor or similar might've gone down, but ever since the transmission rebuild, this car has run excellently, and given me very little trouble, especially considering it's age. This car is a steal at $1250, and you won't find a deal like this anywhere else. Gets over 25mpg highway on the regular (87-octane) and with the 91-octane tune (just adjust timing) gets 30mpg for all practical purposes. I am only selling the vehicle since at ~ 6'2" tall, I can not fit in the vehicle with my racing helmet on, and other than that fact, I would love to keep this vehicle.

FEATURES:
5-speed transmission with less than 50,000 miles since rebuild
Power sunroof
Rear spoiler
Foglights with custom bracket and cover (just need new bulbs ... )
TRUE bucket seats (hold you right in the seat through the toughest Solo2 can send at you)
Good paint (clean)
Aftermarket CD Player
VIPER ALARM - has engine/starter/ignition kill
FACTORY ALARM - has fuel kill

Actually, she sold on Ebay, w/o subs/amp and rims, for $2200 to someone from Hoboken, NJ. Subs and Amp are actually now sold to a local kid around here somewheres. Rims are being kept for the 2.2L project.
