supercharger b/c when u punch the gas pedal, that power is there and I love the sound of a supercharger.
for a turbo, it takes a some mini seconds to kick in. I'm not to fanatic of the blow off sound.

turbo all the way, because with super charger they take away engine power to create engine power. BTW superchargers should have a BOV as well. Turbos are also not really limited to how much boost they can create, only how much they can handle. Plus, the feeling when the turbo starts spoolin is mmm mmm good. Besides, I've seen a lot of expensive super chargers that only claim a 50 hp gain, kinda ridiculous

I love turbo, More power potential, and with a dumped exhaust sounds real mean and you can hear the turbo whining like a supercharger, but better. :)

turbo turbo turbo, in alot of applications it's less expensive, and it doesn't rob anything from your engine to create it's power. just snail it!

the only real negative about turbos, other than lag, is the back up of exhaust gases, but its not that bad as we know and as mentioned the power potential is practically unlimited. I just cant stand the thought of something robbing my motor of power even if it is creating power. Like millon said, its typically less expensive, as I said I've seen many superchargers go for a few thousand and only for 50 hp, just not worth it

the backup usually isnt too bad as long as when you install it you really pay close attention to installation of the wastegate. we could go back and forth forever on which is better between external and internal, but as long as they are working properly, exhaust gases shouldn't be an issue at all.

I like superchargers. Just tell them the whine is a bad belt. :)
Turbos are nice too - truck's a turbo, 1992's a turbo.
