thats why its called a mini truck not a gas chugger, unlike you it only takes $35-40 to fill the rangers tank and that'll last me around 300 miles

wow, I fill mine up w/ about between $65.00-74.00. It depends how much is the gas prices. I feel its the lottery, going up and down, well down by a few cents. We need to do another strike.

well the 113 is at 3.75 a gallon, and i have a 34 gal tank. I average about 12.5 a gal. I think the strike worked a little... or at least stalled the price rise. another one should be organized for the end of this month.

I heard at work that no matter what, the price of fuel is gonna go up 5-10 cents a day until Memorial Day. And while it might drop off a little afterwards, it will still be close to $4/gallon for regular, and $5-$5.50/gallon for diesel. Time to go French Fry Oil - free fuel ftw!

I also agree w/ ya. I hope to get a raise someday at work. I being working at oil change place for 1 year now. I told the boss man if I could get a raise, but he said no. I said that the last month sales (april) at the shop was not good. but yet his being going out of town a couple of times this year. I think its not fair .

to be honest, which sucks, its more likely that your pay will go down than up because they cant afford it, its freakin ridiculous

Yep, cost of living goes up, pay goes down, and somebody's gotta get caught in the middle.

well, i hate to be on the good side of this argument but i do get 3% a year cost of living raise per year... but that doesn't even cover the plunging economy. This is getting so ridiculous, i'm about to go buy the book by jesse ventura, don't start the revolution without me. it's getting that bad.

Well, me and my friends are gonna start making our own diesel fuel. Split $4,000 4-ways to get the refinery thing, then if we contribute to producing diesel, either we get 40 gallons/week (it's 80 gallons/cycle, and we get 2 full cycles completed each week) for us or friends/family/whatever, or we sell it (we're thinking $2.00 a gallon).
Granted, we have to pay taxes and whatnot, but still, pretty sweet imo.
If we don't contribute that week (helping with getting the oils, running the refinery, cleaning it, we all will get tasks each week - rotating) then we don't get our share that week. But still, get some (almost) free fuel (you have to pay the US Gov't fuel tax, but them darned A-rabs ain't gonna get one petty cent). I don't mind giving our government money that much, but I sure as hell don't want to help some Saudi guy buy another rolls royce.

I'm gonna be paying $0.35 per gallon once I get the chevy up here. Making your own biodiesel FTW - cost is borrowing 1 acre of my friend's farm, going to Mickey D's, and the gas tax. I'm not gonna pay to buy someone in the UAE another Rolls.
