any of you ever seen the 2 sided look
when there is 1 set of rims on 1 side of the car
and theres an different set of rims on the other side of the car
if so ,let me know what you think
cause i might go that way if i get some rims from an freind
sincce he only has two 17's,,,and doubt i could find the other 2 to match
i have this 1 car magazine and the 1 car has the 2 sided look

never really heard of the 2 sided look... I guess it's all your preference, personally I am a fan of the 1 theme throughout the car. Of course I also am a little OCD, I can't stand it when things aren't symetrical. I'm that guy that turns the soup cans labels out while he's shopping.:o

i aint really into the look either
but i might be able to pick 2 17's rims up for 30 bucks which is not an bad deal
its the trouble of finding 2 of the same someplace else
so if i cant
i just put 1 set on 1 side
and get another set
a few years ago ,there was this truck painted,it had the same colors but each side had an different design so it was like lookin at 2 diff trucks...
it was shown on the show trucks a while back

if you really commit to the 2 sided look I guess you could actually pull it off. But I think to really make it look right you would have to make the two sides look distinguishingly different.

with the 2 sided look, youll never be able to see both sides of the car, so its actually pretty cool to have. Im a fan of symmetry so Ive kept my gray rims to match everything else.

very true that you won't be able to see either side. It always comes down to preference, but I wouldn't be able to handle knowing it myself. It would bug me just knowing the other side looked different. But again, i'm the soup label guy so my preferences are probably quite different from others. I guess if ya do it right with good rims, it'll look hot.

as is most things in customizing and modification. If you are looking specifically to impress at shows in your area, see what they have at shows. If they have several different looks, it will probably fly. If there is two or three main themes, it might not. If you don't care about what people think at shows, then just do what you think looks good and either way a true auto enthusiast will appreciate it.

don't mind ranger, he's just a hater ;) j/k ranger. Like i said smurf, don't expect everyone to like it, but you might get a mostly positive response from people in your area.

If you like it, go with it. You'll always find haters (i.e. the people out in MI are hating on my Import like CRAZY)

haterz are plentiful, not so much on here though... everyone is pretty understanding and we really see the pure ambition as a good start. Car Domain has haters galore on it. Don't be jealous, appreciate every car you see as a piece of art.

I don't think it's new, i have seen it once or twice in my area, it's just rare. I've seen it on alot of cars that i don't think it was done on purpose though, lol. Is it a big thing where your at smurf?

I don't really like it either, but, when actually done on purpose and right, I appreciate the look. Seems like alot of rustbuckets around my area think it's cool though.
